So far, Tiffany Haddish has had a remarkable 2018, marked by hilariously announcing the Oscar nominees, hooking us up in her new Groupon gig, to hanging out with Queen Bey.

And now, she has yet again added to her list of accomplishments; lending her voice to a new animated series for Netflix.

The streaming giant has given the animated comedy series Tuca and Berti a straight to series order, scheduled to consist of 10 episodes with Tiffany Haddish voicing one of the lead characters.

The comedy is centered on the friendship between two 30-year-old bird-women who live in the same building. Haddish will play Tuca and is a care-free toucan, and Bertie is a high strung, head in the clouds songbird. The role of Bertie has not yet been cast.

This new venture is likely to make Tiffany Haddish continue elevating her career more especially from her breakout in the movie ‘Girls Trip.’

Apart from that new gig, Haddish will also be seen next opposite Tracy Morgan in TBS’ The Last OG and opposite Kevin Hart in Night School. The rising star has also signed a first-look deal with HBO.

Earlier this year, Haddish shared a funny story about how Beyoncé helped her fix her wig and played peacemaker to prevent Haddish from getting into a physical fight with another party guest.

Meanwhile, Lisa Hanawalt created the animated comedy series Tuca and Berti and will also serve as executive producer. Besides that, Hanawalt is the production designer and producer on Netflix’s critically-acclaimed animated series “BoJack Horseman.”

This latest project marks the most recent series of high-profile gigs for Haddish, who broke out in the comedy blockbuster film “Girls Trip.” She also recently released her book, “The Last Black Unicorn,” in December, and signed a first-look deal with HBO.

BoJack Horseman was a hit movie and was renewed for Season five at Netflix back in September, and has received widespread critical acclaim, with the four available seasons averaging an 89 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Currently, there isn’t release date set yet for Tuca & Bertie.
