TAMRON HALL AND HUSBAND STEVEN GREENER
The journalist is going to be a Mommy Shark very, very soon.
Tamron Hall has three reasons to celebrate: Along with her new daytime talk show debuting later this year, the former Today host recently announced that she is now married and expecting a baby. In fact, she shared the news in a totally appropriate way — with the help of her new BFF, Baby Shark.

In a second Instagram post, the 48-year-old journalist shared more details about her upcoming arrival along with the name of her hubby.
I’ve wanted to share this news for many months and now finally my doctor has said I am in a safe place, at 32 weeks, to share my joy with y’all. So, it’s clear a daytime talk show isn’t the only thing I’ve been trying to produce! There have been many tears, but today I embrace the smiles. My husband Steven and I are beyond excited! We’re in constant prayer, so if you pray, add us to your list; if you meditate, send calmness our way; and if you believe in luck, we’ll happily take that too. More to share in a few weeks when the baby arrives! Next chapter! Blessed and Grateful.
Since Hall abruptly left NBC in February 2017 after losing her 9 a.m. time slot to Megyn Kelly, fans have been rallying for a comeback. Her biggest fans? The entire Today crew. Savannah Guthrie commented on Hall’s post with a short yet seriously sweet note: “Yessssss!!!!!! ❤️????❤️” Hoda Kotb even chimed in by writing,” ❤️❤️ the best chapter yet!!! ❤️❤️ congrats.” Ah, our favorite girl gang is together again!
But after all the excitement (kind of) died down, everyone had the same question.
Who is Tamron Hall’s husband?
Although Hall is staying tight-lipped on her beau, Page Six confirmed that Hall is married to Steven Greener, a music executive. As the Head of Music Talent at Primary Wave Entertainment, Greener has worked with music and comedy legends like Fantasia Barrino and Bernie Mac. His production credits include Guess Who, The Bernie Mac Show, and Soul Men.
While we still don’t know when the couple met or got married, Hall mentioned that she was dating someone in the “entertainment industry” during a 2017 interview with Steve Harvey.
The journalist has been open about her dreams to have children, which makes this announcement even sweeter. During an old segment on Today, she shared how she wished she “started the process of having children” in her late 20s. She even wrote a blog post about what it’s like to be an adult woman without a child: “Not to diminish the spectacular and beautiful journey of parenthood, but don’t make me feel I am half an adult if I don’t have a child,” she wrote. Best of all, she’ll be able to experience the “spectacular and beautiful journey of parenthood” in just a few months time.
And a few months after baby #1 is born, her second baby will make its debut: Tamron Hall, her brand-new syndicated show, will debut on September 9, 2019. In the words of Hall herself: “When one door closes… (say it with me) another one opens!” Congrats!
