“This diverse class of talented Inductees reflects the Rock Hall’s ongoing commitment to honor artists whose music created the sound of youth culture”, said John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation. “It will make for an unforgettable live celebration of music in October at this year’s Induction Ceremony in Cleveland.”

Ballots were sent to an international voting body of more than 1,200 artists, including current living Inductees, historians and members of the music industry. Factors such as an artist’s musical influence on other artists, length and depth of career and the body of work, innovation and superiority in style and technique are taken into consideration.

The 36th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 8 p.m. ET at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio with a radio simulcast on SiriusXM’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Radio channel 310. The Induction Ceremony will air at a later date on HBO and stream on HBO Max. Tickets go on sale to the public and members in July.  Select Rock Hall donors and members get exclusive Induction ticket opportunities. Ceremony Details

The Rock Hall will hold the 36th annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on October 30th at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. 

The Ceremony will air at a later date on HBO and stream on HBO Max, alongside a radio simulcast on SiriusXM’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Radio channel 320 and Volume channel 106.

Let’s Kick Off Induction Week

We’re getting the Induction party started with killer local music all day long, plenty of family activities, and a festival village with local vendors and community partners.

The headlining performance will come from Mourning [A] BLKstar, the winners of the 2021 Cleveland Arts Prize: Emerging Artist Award. And we’ll bring it home with a jaw-dropping fireworks show set to songs from the 2021 Inductees.

Everything outside is free for everyone. Our (lucky) Ohio Residents are also able to come inside the Museum to tour the brand new 2021 Inductee Exhibit…for free. That’s right. Free.

Rock Hall Nights: 2021 Inductions

2021 Inductee Theme

We’re bringing back Rock Hall Nights with a night themed around the 2021 Inductees. We’ve got Inductee songs with our in-house DJ, an Inductee Costume Contest (because, hello Halloween), signature rubbings and lots more.

All tickets are discounted at $21 and include Museum touring from 5pm-9pm, with Rock Hall Nights activities from 6pm-8pm.

Covid Protocols

For the health and safety of all involved in the event, all fans attending the Induction Ceremony must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (14 days past final vaccination shot) and provide proof of COVID-19 immunization or a negative COVID-19 test within 48-hours prior to entering the venue, along with an appropriate ID matching the name on their documentation. Ticket holders will receive an email with additional details. Fans with questions should contact the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse Box Office at [email protected].

Why are you doing this?

This decision is a result of the surge in COVID-19 cases as the Delta variant spreads and the level of community transmission remains high in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, where the event will take place. The vaccination policy is being implemented as an open-ended one, with any changes or reversals informed by updates relating to transmission rates, variant developments, and local and federal regulations.

How do I show my proof of vaccination or negative test?

Acceptable documentation may be a physical copy of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or negative test or a digital copy or photo of such Card or test

What if I forget my proof of vaccination?

You will not be admitted to the event without proof of vaccination or a negative test. If you forget your proof of vaccination, you will need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48-hours prior to entering the venue, along with an appropriate ID matching the name on your documentation.

What about attendees under the age of 12?

As the vaccine has not been approved for use on kids under age 12, a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of the event will be required.

Will attendees be wearing masks?

As of today, masks will be optional but strongly recommended inside the venue. Please plan to bring a mask with you in case the situation changes and masks become required.
