Vivica A. Fox Endorses Biden, Assisted Campaign in Jackson, Mississippi!

Former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden is now a frontrunner in the Democratic race for the presidency in 2020.
The fact that Biden was Barack Obama’s Vice President has flocked the black vote toward him in an unprecedented fashion. On the strength of that alone, Biden has not had to earn the black vote at all. Black voters showed up and showed out for the verbally reckless politician in South Carolina’s recent primary ahead of Super Tuesday.
However, prior to being chosen by Barack Obama to be his running mate, Biden was guilty of saying a covertly racist and ethnically insensitive thing about America’s first president of African descent.
People seem to have forgotten that before Obama won his first term as president, Biden was one of his Democratic competitors for the 2008 presidential election.
In January 2007, Biden was a U.S. Senator and was asked about all his Democratic rivals who at the time, like him, were looking to prevent another Republican from filling George W. Bush’s seat after his two terms.
“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man,” Biden said to a reporter who wrote for the New York Observer.
Biden’s comment obviously insinuated that blacks like Shirley Chisolm and Jesse Jackson (who both ran for president) are not articulate, not bright, not clean, or very nice-looking. But then again, what would you expect from a man who as a U.S. Senator in 1994, endorsed the most oppressive American crime bill against blacks in the modern era?
“[There is a] cadre of young [black] people, tens of thousands of them, born out of wedlock,” Biden emphatically said in a speech on Capitol Hill while endorsing his crime bill.
“[They’re raised] without parents, without supervision, without any structure, without any conscience developing because they literally…because they literally have not been socialized…they literally have not had an opportunity,” Biden continued.
The 1994 crime bill that Biden engineered was nothing but a mass incarceration machine against minorities, which incentivized states to lock up as many people of color as possible. Not only that, the bill supported their incarceration for crimes that were not serious at all.
“If you’re a black baby born today, you have a 1 in 3 chance of spending some time in prison or jail,” said criminal justice reform activist Nicholas Turner in a 2014 interview with National Public Radio.
“If you’re Latino, it’s a 1 in 6 chance. And if you’re white, it’s 1 in 17. And so coming to terms with these disparities and reversing them, I would argue, is not only a matter of fairness and justice but it’s, I would argue, a matter of national security,” Turner added.
But even as all those facts remain, black people are still unconscionably hell-bent on electing a man for the presidency who crafted a policy nearly 30 years ago, which still oppresses their youth today. According to BET, the Biden campaign has gained a perfect new poster child as the racist Democratic establishment handpicks its famous shuckers and jivers.
Vivica A. Fox helped Biden “set it off” to get the black vote in the deep red state of Mississippi. The “Set It Off” film co-star helpied Biden for a “Get Out The Vote” event in Jackson, Mississippi on Sunday, March 8, 2020. In January, Fox told people People Magazine about her decision.
“Right now, to me, it seems like the presidency is like a joke. What is really going on? That respect and that class is what is lacking that I really feel like Joe Biden has for us and what I want to see in my president,” Fox told People.
