3 People Under Investigation For Possible Novel Coronavirus In Ohio, Health Officials Say!

There are three people under investigation for possibly being infected with the COVID-19 strain of the coronavirus, according to the Ohio Department of Health.

The department says that three people have “exhibited symptoms of respiratory illness AND, with 14 days of symptoms starting, either traveled to China or been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19.”

On Thursday, Governor Mike DeWine and health leaders shared more information on the COVID-19 action plan in Ohio.

During that event, Dr. Amy Acton with the Ohio Department of Health said the state of Ohio has received coronavirus testing kits from the CDC.

There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ohio as of Thursday, March 5, 2020.

Additionally, the State of Ohio has launched a new website with information on coronavirus: coronavirus.ohio.gov.
