Cain Park

Heat up your summer with an evening of tap dance and live music inspired by its Afro-Brazilian roots that will have you dancing in your seat! This unique performance blends together the celebratory and joyous movement styles of tap dance, house dance, and passinho (Brazilian funk) and highlights its live musical performers throughout from beginning to end, incorporating wide-ranging influences of samba, Afro-Cuban, jazz, and more. Led by Brazilian dancer-choreographer Leonardo Sandoval and bassist-composer Gregory Richardson, the company has garnered rave reviews across the world since their first performances in 2015 at Lincoln Center, Jacob’s Pillow, the Guggenheim Museum, The Yard, and many more. Sit back, relax and let the movement and music brighten your soul! Stay after the show for an afterparty you won’t want to miss and keep the beat going into the night!
