Member Kelly Rowland gave an update on whether or not fans will see the long-awaited reunion between her and fellow members Beyonce and Michelle Williams.

This year marks 25 years since Beyoncé , Michelle Williams, and Kelly Rowland banded together to form the beloved late 90s/early 2000s group Destiny’s Child. And if you’ve been waiting to witness the highly anticipated reunion between the three singers in commemoration of that anniversary, then boy do I have news for you—but it’s not news you’ll like. I’ll explain.

Speaking in a new interview with The Messenger over the weekend, Rowland gave the unfortunate update that the three of them are not currently working on any sort of reunion. While she acknowledged the fact that there’s “so much energy around DC right now,” she explained that each of their are focus is on their solo projects instead.

“Between Bey wrapping up Renaissance and getting ready for her movie, Michelle in the thick of her solo projects that she’s doing, and me in my solo space and all the things that I’m doing, that’s where my head is,” the “Motivation” singer said. “That’s where my heart is. That’s what I’m most excited about, with all due respect to Destiny’s Child. And should there be a space for that, we’ll see what happens. But as for right now, I’m so excited as to what I’m doing.”

Womp, womp, womp.

I guess we shouldn’t be too surprised at this update considering how she shirked around the question of a reunion earlier this summer, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t at least a teeny, tiny bit disappointed. Oh, well. Good things come to those who wait, I suppose. Maybe by the time we do get some sort of reunion, it’ll be extra special.
