With Ohio sports betting gearing up for a Jan. 1, 2023 launch, state regulators have issued a new set of licenses to multiple notable sportsbooks.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission granted operators like FanDuel, Barstool Sportsbook, and Caesars Sportsbook conditional approval to go-live on Jan. 1, 2023. Numerous Type A (online) and Type B (retail) sports betting licenses were handed out to operators, along with pro sports teams like the Bengals, Guardians, Cavaliers, and Blue Jackets also receiving approval.

Ohio Sports Betting Approvals Granted to FanDuel, Barstool, and More

As the Buckeye State prepares for a massive sports betting launch date confirmed for Jan. 1, 2023, the Ohio Casino Control Commission released a set of sports betting licenses to local casinos and pro sports teams. Each of these local casinos and pro sports teams are partnered with sportsbooks that will grant market access to each approved operator.
